Happy Monday morning, to all my amazing Blogites out there! As we dive into a new week, this phrase came to me:
The difference makes all the difference.
I thought about it for awhile and here's my thoughts: We are all different - there has never been another you and there never will be another you. You were born at this time for purpose. You are not here by accident and you are not you by accident. You have all that you need inside of you right now to live out the life that God is calling you to.
Our differences are what make us unique! What I hear often in my coaching is this: I want to be a _______________ (fill in the blank with some occupation/career) but everyone's doing it. Recently I was talking to someone who loves photography but again, there was these phrases: with the new digital cameras and phones now, everyone can be a photographer. There are so many people doing it, there's no market for it. With these sorts of thoughts and words, you have already defeated yourself. I know several photographers but their work is so individual. Each person has different ideas and perspectives and so you could get six different photographers with six VERY different bodies of work.
What is it that you would love to do? What are some things that you're really great at? No one will ever do something just like you. Remember that. Don't rob the world of the gifts inside of you. If you don't express them, no one else can because they're not you. Your difference makes the difference so get out there and show us your brilliance!
